The Fetești-Cernavodă bridge toll (also known as Fetești toll) is the fee drivers pay when crossing the bridge on the A2 Motorway (Sun Motorway), regardless of direction. The payment obligation applies to all permanently registered vehicles, with exceptions provided by law (e.g., vehicles with provisional red plates).

Rates vary depending on vehicle type:

• Cars and vehicles under 3.5t: 13 RON / crossing (26 RON round trip, 208 RON for 20 crossings)
• Vehicles 3.5t-12t and minibuses: 47 RON / crossing (94 RON round trip)
• Vehicles over 12t, max. 3 axles and coaches: 64 RON / crossing (128 RON round trip)
• Vehicles over 12t, min. 4 axles: 91 RON / crossing (182 RON round trip)

All rates include VAT and are expressed in RON.

Fines are 10 times higher than the bridge toll:

• Cars and vehicles under 3.5t: between 130 and 260 RON
• Vehicles 3.5t-12t: between 470 and 940 RON
• Vehicles over 12t, max. 3 axles: between 640 and 1,280 RON
• Vehicles over 12t, min. 4 axles: between 910 and 1,820 RON

Each unpaid crossing constitutes a separate offence.

Open the Pago app, go to the Bridge Toll section, add your car details (registration number, chassis number, vehicle category, country of registration) and choose the number of crossings: 1, 2 or 20. Payment is made instantly with the card saved in your account — it all takes just a few seconds.

Through Pago you can buy 1, 2 or 20 crossings at once. Crossings are valid for 365 days from the date of purchase.

Yes. You can pay both before and after crossing — the important thing is to pay within 24 hours of crossing to avoid fines.

Yes. Through Pago you can pay bridge tolls for as many cars as you want, even if you're not the owner. It's useful for families with multiple cars or employers managing a fleet.

Yes. In Pago there is an option for legal entities: check the dedicated box, enter the company name and tax ID, and pay with the company card.

No. Vehicles with provisional plates (red plates) are exempt from paying the Fetești-Cernavodă bridge toll. The electronic system does not generate penalties for these vehicles.

No. The bridge toll is associated with the specific vehicle, not the registration number. If you changed your vehicle, even if the number remains the same, you need to buy a new crossing.

No, selling the car does not allow a refund for unused crossings. Recovery is only possible in special cases: dismantling, scrapping, permanent removal of the vehicle from Romania or officially declared theft.
