Regulation for awarding Pago Points
(„The Regulation”)

All capitalised terms not defined herein shall have the meaning given in the Terms and Conditions for using the application available here.
SECTION 1
WHAT ARE PAGO POINTS AND HOW DO THEY WORK?
1.1. Pago Points are a reward, in the form of virtual points associated with a User's account, which that User may acquire depending on the activities they carry out within the Pago App (hereinafter "Pago Points" or „Points”).
1.2. The Pago Points obtained by a User may be used by that User, after obtaining them, to pay, in part or in full, the value of the services available in the Pago App.
1.3. Pago Points may not be used outside the Pago App, and the User may not request the Company to convert the Pago Points associated with their account in the Pago App into sums of money or other benefits.
1.4. Pago Points are available and awarded to Users starting from 10.09.2018 (the „General Starting Date”). Users who carried out activities within the Pago App for which Pago Points may be awarded, according to Section 2 below, prior to the General Starting Date or another date expressly mentioned in this Regulation, may not obtain and may not claim Pago Points, as these are not awarded retroactively.
1.5. The Company may decide, at any time, to suspend or cease the awarding of Pago Points within the Pago App, in which case it will inform Users by e-mail and by means of an announcement within the Pago App.
1.6. The Company may also modify the awarding conditions, the number of Pago Points, the value of these Pago Points and any other details regarding the operation of the Pago Points mechanism, without prior notice to Users.
1.7. For the purpose of awarding Pago Points, the Company will not process additional personal data of Users, nor on grounds and for purposes other than those described in the Personal Data Processing Policy available here.
SECTION 2
METHOD OF AWARDING AND CONVERTING PAGO POINTS
2.1. Users who meet the conditions necessary for creating an account within and using the Pago App (according to the Terms and Conditions of use available here) will receive, from the Preliminary Starting Date or the General Starting Date, as the case may be, the following numbers of Pago Points for the activities below:
2.1.1. Creating the User account within the Pago App = 150 points;
2.1.2. Connecting the first online Approved Supplier account = 50 points;
2.1.3. Connecting other online Approved Supplier accounts = 25 points/supplier;
2.1.4. The first payment of an invoice from the connected account = 25 points;
2.1.5. The payment of subsequent invoices for a connected account, provided it is made before the due date = 7 points;
2.1.6. The first payment of an invoice by scanning the invoice's barcode = 15 points;
2.1.7. The payment of subsequent invoices by scanning the barcode = 5 points;
2.1.8. The first top-up of a mobile phone number with a value of at least 5 EUR credit = 25 points;
2.1.9. Subsequent top-ups of a mobile phone number with a value of at least 3 EUR = 15 points;
2.1.10. Adding the first car in the Insurance section = 100 points;
2.1.11. Concluding the first medical travel insurance policy (travel insurance) = 50 points/day covered by the insurance, up to a limit of 1000 points;
2.1.12. Concluding subsequent medical travel insurance policies (travel insurance) = 25 points/day covered by the insurance, up to a limit of 1000 points;
2.1.13. For the activities carried out through the Invite your friends to Pago feature, available in the Pago App, the following points will be awarded:
500 Points are awarded to the User who shared their unique link with their contacts (natural persons), provided that these invited persons complete the steps below:
- access the unique invitation link shared by the User;
- create a User account; and
- make payment of at least 2 (two) invoices within the Pago App with a minimum value of 50 RON; for the avoidance of any doubt, the conditions mentioned above are cumulative, the Points being awarded at the moment when the last indicated condition, namely the first payment of an invoice by the natural person who becomes a User, is fulfilled;
2.1.14. for the activities carried out through the Donate with Pago feature, available in the Pago App and on the Site, the following points will be awarded:
2.1.14.1. For the first donation made by activating a recurring donation, Points will be awarded as follows:
- 200 Points for a recurring donation of at least 20 RON per month;
- 500 Points for a recurring donation of at least 50 RON per month;
- 1000 Points for a recurring donation of at least 100 RON per month.
2.1.15. (starting from 30 June 2022), for the purchase of Vignettes / Passages, Users will receive:
2.1.15.1. 100 Points, as a result of purchasing and paying for the first Vignette;
2.1.15.2. 50 Points, as a result of paying for the first number of Passages, whether it is 1 (one) Passage, 2 (two) Passages or 20 (twenty) Passages.
2.2. In the case of Pago Points obtained as a result of a payment made by the User, as described above in art. 2.1., the amount of that payment must be at least 5 RON. For clarity, no Pago Points will be awarded for payments lower than 5 RON.
2.3. The Company may also decide to award Pago Points for activities within the Pago App other than those provided in point 2.1. above, or it may decide to cease awarding Pago Points for one or more of the activities provided in point 2.1. above.
2.4. Each Pago Point represents the value of 1 ban (0.01 RON).
2.5. The Pago Points obtained during a calendar month are valid until the expiry of a period of 6 calendar months from the beginning of the month following the one in which the respective Pago Points are obtained.
2.6. The Pago Points a User holds are acquired automatically during the activities they carry out in the Pago App. At the same time, Pago Points may be used at the moment the User makes a payment within the Pago App, insofar as they opt for this at the time of making the payment, following the instructions in the Pago App. The Company may limit the proportion of Pago Points that may be used within the total amount of a payment.
2.7. At the moment the User wishes to make a payment within the Pago App, they will be informed of the value of the payment to be made and of the possibility of making that payment using Pago Points, namely the number of Pago Points they must use, together with any remaining difference to be paid from the amount due. By confirming the payment, the number of Pago Points available in their User account will decrease by the number of Pago Points used for the payment of the mentioned invoice.
2.8. To find out the number of Pago Points they hold, the User may access the Pago Points section in the Pago App.
2.9. The transaction relating to a payment made must be successfully completed, with the User receiving proof thereof by e-mail, in order for it to be considered as giving the right to the awarding of Pago Points, according to this Regulation.
2.10. Rules regarding the use of Pago Points related to the Benefit Voucher
2.10.1. The Pago Points received as a result of using the Benefit Voucher may be used for the full or partial payment of invoices, for mobile credit top-ups and for making donations within the Donate with Pago campaign. For clarity, the Pago Points related to the Benefit Voucher may not be used to pay for insurance or for taxes and duties.
2.10.2. The Pago Points received as a result of using the Benefit Voucher may be used for 24 (twenty-four) calendar months from the moment they were allocated to the User as a result of using the Benefit Voucher.
SECTION 3
OTHER PROVISIONS
3.1. Deleting the User account within the Pago App results in the loss of all Pago Points previously accumulated by that User.
3.2. A User may not request the Company to transfer the Pago Points belonging to them to another User or to another account of the same User.
3.3. The Company guarantees that the payment of sums of money within the Pago App, using Pago Points, is a payment method agreed by the Approved Suppliers present in the Pago App.
3.4. The Company reserves the right to cancel part or all of the Pago Points acquired by a User, without prior notice, in any of the following situations, by way of example:
- the User has created multiple user accounts within the App in order to obtain a greater number of Pago Points overall;
- the User uses Pago Points in a manner that affects the integrity and/or functioning of the App or harms the Company's activity.
3.5. In the case of serious and/or repeated breaches of this Regulation by a User, the Company may decide to suspend or delete the User's account, informing the User in advance of this.
